I pray all of you had a wonderful weekend and are energized and ready to start the fresh new week! I am, especially after the message I received in church today.
The message today came out of Romans 12:1-2. The sermon talked a few things. One being that we are to live in this world but not be of the world. We should strive to give God our best and renew our minds daily because the adversary is ever present and striving to cause us to fall. Have you ever heard your pastor or maybe a friend or family member say, "Your body is a temple"? The spirit of the Lord dwells inside of you so you should always be mindful of what you put it in it, expose to it, and allow to come out of it (what you speak).
Church service is always a blessing.

After church I had the pleasure of indulging in the moistest, most delicious pound cake you would ever want to sink you teeth into!!! It was made by a friend of mine at J. Vashawn cakes. He made this particular cake in the shape of a butterfly.
I hope you can look at this slice and maybe imagine how moist it was LOL! If you live in the Jacksonville area and would like to purchase a pound cake, please let me know! Trust me, it would be worth every penny!
