For those of you who have been following my blog for a while, you know that Vegas is one of my FAVORITE vacay spots! I decided, on a whim might I add, to come to Vegas for the fourth of July and to celebrate my brother's birthday! So I'm going to keep it short and show you my OOTDs!!!
Here is what I wore on Independence Day! I thought the red, white, and blue in this dress was perfect for the occasion.

I love how long this dress is! I was able to hide my flip flops
(Old Navy) and still look cute. I wore flip flops because I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking and wanted to be comfortable.

Vegas has a plethora of choices for good eats. For dinner we went to BB Kings Restaurant and Blues Club.
There was a step and repeat so of course I took full advantage for a photo op!
Now... I have been to BB Kings Restaurant in Florida and I loved the food but here in Vegas I was just underwhelmed. The food was nice to look at though.
We had a coupon and were able to get our appetizers for free! The catfish bites were the best!
These little sweet potato puffs were good but I think I liked the caramel dipping sauce best!
The fried pickles were ok but waaaayyyyyy too salty so we returned them....
....and got wings instead.
My dish looks wonderful doesn't it? It's one of the signature items, Cajun Carbonara. It was perfect too look at but the flavor was absent. :( After doctoring it up a bit, I was able to enjoy it a little more.
Half of a chicken. I didn't taste this so I can't say anything about it.
The chicken fried chicken came on a bed of macaroni and I got a little taste of it and it was kind of lacking in flavor as well.
The atmosphere was cool but the food was just ok. I hate when that happens but I'd go back for another try since my experience was so great at the location in Florida.
That wraps it up for day 1 in Vegas. I shall return soon dolls.
