I hope that all is well and that you all had a wonderful weekend. Before I show you my church outfit I would like to debut a special someone in my life. I did another walk for Breast Cancer on Saturday with my cheerleaders and brought my little chihuahua along for the cause! She was a bit of a superstar at the walk! Everyone thought she was the cutest thing in her pink jacket and wanted her picture!
Anywho...here is what I was wearing at church yesterday:
- Jacket: H&M
- Dress: Bebop (Ross)
(Excuse my ashy feet.....fashion foul!!! I promise I put on lotion that morning. LOL!)- Heels: Sam Edelman (These shoes are so comfy!)
The message at church was on time, as always. The scripture was Acts 18:11. The message contrasted the Tools of Discouragement and the Tools of the Lord. The tools of discouragement are meant to keep you in bondage: pride, jealousy, deceit, envy, hatred, and idolatry. The tools of the Lord will set you free: self-control, patience, gentleness, joy, peace, goodness, and kidness. The part of the message that resonated with me was this, "In tough situations you've got to praise your way out of them. The adversary can't come in unless you give them an entrance.
