Hi Dolls,
Last Saturday (9/22) I had the pleasure of attending a tasting for
Fat Cat Gourmet Condiments. The tasting was held at a gourmet-styled retail shop called All Spiced-Up. I immediately fell in love when I walked through the doors. The store is located in San Marco which is known for their boutiques and All Spiced Up fit right in. It's a small family owned store featuring unique blends, rubs, spices, oils, teas, and lots more!
At the tasting I bought one of the featured hot sauces. It's called "Surprisingly Mild Guajillo Ghost"! It's "surprising" because this sauce is made with ghost chili peppers which is the world's hottest pepper. However, the sauce has very smoky and mild flavor.
I used it last week when I made beef fajitas!
Here's what you need!
Ingredients:
Fajita Seasoning
1/4 cup Fat Cat Surprisingly Mild Guajillo Ghost Hot Sauce
Boneless Beef Round (cut in strips)
1 Green Pepper, sliced
1 Yellow Onion, sliced
2 TSP Salsa
Cheddar Cheese
Flour tortillas
1.) Slice and season your veggies and beef
2.) In a large baggie add the veggies, beef, and hot sauce and stick in the fridge for about 15 minutes to marinate.
(This can be done over night too)
3.) After 15 minutes, take your baggie out of the fridge and cook over a medium-high heat in a grill pan. (smells so good!!!)
4.) Once the meat and veggies are cooked, add it to your tortilla, add a little salsa and cheese (or whatever you'd like), and eat up!!!
Most of you probably know that, quick, easy, and delicious is how I like to roll when it comes to cooking! This is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. It was very flavorful and the hot sauce added just the right amount of heat!
If you try it, please let me know! I'd love to hear how it turned out for you. Have a great week dolls and thanks for stopping by!
XOXO
